Pierre Labric is probably best remembered in this country for recording the complete recordings of the organ symphonies of Louis Vierne. Those recordings for the Musical Heritage Society in the 1970s were what introduced a generation to both Vierne and the sound universe of Great Cavaillé-Coll Organ. This is the first remastering of those groundbreaking recordings and the first time they’ve been made available off of LP.
