Conductor Iain Sutherland is internationally recognized as British light music’s leading champion. “Christmas Cracker” brings together Sutherland’s holiday season favourites, including the Leroy Anderson favorite “Sleigh Ride”, selections from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker”, and seasonal favorites by Leopold Mozart, Johann Strauss II, Victor Herbert, and many others – including a Nutcracker-style twist on Beatles favorites and Sutherland’s choral arrangement of Leroy Anderson’s “Christmas Festival” suite of carols.
