Alto

Classical music by its very nature is music that has stood the test of time, and Alto is the label that dedicates itself to the art of curating recorded performances who’s artistic and technical qualities have themselves stood the test of time. While there are some new recordings on Alto that earn their place through special qualities, the majority of releases are recordings that have been available before, and despite whatever might have been released in the meantime, appear now to be needed by the collector of that repertoire.
