As a teenage violin prodigy, Yehudi Menuhin became composer Edward Elgar’s preferred soloist in his Violin Concerto. Menuhin went on to a long career as both a violinist and conductor – and late in his career paid tribute to his legendary patron and mentor with this dramatic recording of the Enigma Variations.
