Organ Extravaganza reviewed on MusicWeb

Our new August release Organ Extravaganza (ALC 1187) has just been reviewed on the influential Classical music review website MusicWeb International. You can read the review here by clicking this text. The article praises organist Kevin Bowyer‘s outstanding playing ability: “Bowyer is in fine form, as he always seems to be… giving listeners the chance to appreciate some of the power and range of the ‘King of Instruments’ whilst being thoroughly entertained by tuneful, rousing and evocative music.” This excellent collection, taken from two separate recitals on two of England’s greatest pipe organs, contains “music loud enough to rouse the dead (Danse Macabre) and gentle enough to relax them again (Chanson de Matin).”
