The world seems unable to get enough of Sviatoslav Richter. A much loved, energetic and amazingly prolific performer, there has been a growth in appreciation of his live recordings over the years since his death. This collection puts together three supreme Sonata masterpieces of the high classical tradition and Oleg Kagan is at his stellar best in the violin works. The performances are from 1982 and 1985 and were proclaimed by Richter himself as worthy of issue on record.
